Our little weekend adventure down White Rock Canyon

It makes me laugh just looking at this picture. After this happened I about peed my pants. I had to grab the camera quick to get this shot. Needless to say that big rock sat right in the middle of the canyon on our hike down, somehow it jumped out and tripped Jesse. I feel bad making fun, Jesse did end up with a large gash in his shin but it was a good laugh : )
The hot springs are located below hoover dam. Right along the Colorado River. You just hike about 3 miles down White Rock canyon and and then a little ways up another canyon. You know you've reached it once you hit this really tall ladder. It is pretty rusted and not very sturdy... but I guess it just makes it part of the adventure.
Once you've gone up the ladder the pools are just waiting for ya! There were a couple different pools, all different temps. But the further you go up the canyon the hotter they get.
On the hike up to the pools. The pictures don't do this place justice. It was such a fun weekend. My hubby is amazing. He is always locating all these fun adventurous things for us to do. If it wasn't for him I would probably just sit in front of the TV and watch cooking shows & eat half baked Ben & Jerry's Ice cream any spare moment I would have.

We had so much fun too. Can you email me all of your pictures. I love the one with all of us in the hot spring. What's the next adventure Jesse is planning or is it our turn to take you guys to Valley of Fire or Zions?
Wow! I wish my husband was a little more adventurous. He grew up with the idea of camping in a hotel :) I almost peed my pants too when I read about that rock growing out of no where in time to trip Jesse. Poor guy!

we did this hike a few years ago and it was really sweet I loved the hot springs! glad to see you 2 are having so much fun all the time!
