We had a blast!! We went with a bunch of fun friends. The kids all had so much fun running, playing and getting super dirty! We all had fun playing cards, going to the lake and also waiting out a serious rain storm : ) Hens was such a sweet baby, during the camp out she was getting her 2 bottom teeth in and didn't fuss about it. She is a tuff girl! The picture of her holding Jesse's finger and sucking her thumb, is a pic I took as she feel asleep next to the campfire. She loved camping, she is totally her daddy's girl : ) ps isn't my hubby so totally dreamy with his beard!!!

We live 3 hours from the Mexico border. We took a little weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary to Rocky Point!
" HAVE A NICE TRIP " ( I love the guy in this pic trying to bum a ride :)
The view from our Hotel Room..........How Beautiful is this......!!!!!
This man would cut your mango right there on the beach to look like this amazing flower... and then he would top it with fresh lime juice..... we lived off these the whole trip: )

ANyone that knows me.... knows this is my drink of choice: ) This is the Mexican version " Coca Cola Light" Jesse used to get these treats on his mission in Chile... they were fantastico : )

We went to a little restaurant off of our hotel. The food was REALLY Good! They had amazing chips and salsa : ) They sure do know how to make good mexican food : )

We hung out all day by the pool, played in the waves and soaked in the sun. Jesse even tried to teach me how to Skim Board... Lets just say he was unsuccessful : ) . As for him.. he is amazing. It was fun to watch him.

Can You Say WOW!!!
This was a mile long slot canyon in the middle of the desert. Talk about an OASIS! Every corner we came across there was a new adventure. We probably slid down 10 slides, crossed huge boulders, came across a centipede, snake ,bat you name it. : ( I'm glad I had my amazing hubby there to protect me; ) At the very end of the hike we had 2 choices 1- 40 ft jump into a huge pool of water or 2- repel down the 40-ft ledge. No other way. WE JUMPED! IT WAS A BLAST! MY HUBBY IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

Instead of posting a million pics of our day trip I thought it would be fun to show some real footage. It is hard to show in pictures what an amazing fun place this is. So here is a little glimpse of the "NATURAL WATER PARK" ENJOY :)
I am sad to say that this is the last of our little adventures for a little while. Jesse has a heavy school schedule this quarter : ( That means tests on Tuesdays and on Friday. GOOD LUCK HUBBY!!! 1 more year to go! YAAAY! So check back with us in 3 months for some new adventures.

Arizona Hot Springs
Our little weekend adventure down White Rock Canyon
Kaytie, Paul, Shaughnessy, Kirk, Jaymie, Jesse ( TALK about a FUN group) We love you guys!!!
It makes me laugh just looking at this picture. After this happened I about peed my pants. I had to grab the camera quick to get this shot. Needless to say that big rock sat right in the middle of the canyon on our hike down, somehow it jumped out and tripped Jesse. I feel bad making fun, Jesse did end up with a large gash in his shin but it was a good laugh : )
The hot springs are located below hoover dam. Right along the Colorado River. You just hike about 3 miles down White Rock canyon and and then a little ways up another canyon. You know you've reached it once you hit this really tall ladder. It is pretty rusted and not very sturdy... but I guess it just makes it part of the adventure.
Once you've gone up the ladder the pools are just waiting for ya! There were a couple different pools, all different temps. But the further you go up the canyon the hotter they get.
On the hike up to the pools. The pictures don't do this place justice. It was such a fun weekend. My hubby is amazing. He is always locating all these fun adventurous things for us to do. If it wasn't for him I would probably just sit in front of the TV and watch cooking shows & eat half baked Ben & Jerry's Ice cream any spare moment I would have.

Sedona- Devils Bridge
We went up North to Sedona for the day. Jesse will be back in it full force next week (studying boo-hoo), so I wanted to make sure we were able to spend the whole day together. Jesse planned a hike and I wanted to do some shopping. Well the hike turned out amazing and the shopping...well lets just say I did not spend a dime. We hiked to this natural bridge named the Devils Bridge. You can just see from the pics how amazing it was. Sedona is all red rock and indian ruins. We were both so glad we went, we discovered a new area for many future day hikes. We also ate a fantastic Mexican restaurant down in the city.
