A little update on our cute little kiddo's ( or maybe just a bragging session :)
HENSLEE

 |
| Henslee is now 17 months and she is cuter than ever! She loves to snuggle. She loves to give kisses and really tight hugs! She loves to be in the pool. She is the most amazing little girl! She has had a lot of fun being a big sister. She loves Nixon sometimes a little too much :) She has been one busy girl!! We took her in for her 15 month check up and the Dr recommended us start Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational therapy with Henslee. We have each one of those once a week and it has been amazing on how much progression Henslee has made. She has just recently started crawling, pulling herself up & taking a few steps along furniture. We also noticed one eye turning in so we took her in to an Ophthalmologist and they informed us she needed glasses. It is her new fashion accessory. :) She looks darling in them. It is quite a chore to keep them on her but she is starting to get used to them. She is -3 in both eyes so she is unable to see clearly more than 12 inches away from her face. I think they are really helping her. She is working really hard and progressing so well. She brings us more happiness than we could ever imagine. She makes us laugh all the time. |
NIXON
Wow time has flown by. Nixon is already 1 month old. He is such a sweet little guy. We have loved having him in our home. He is such a good baby. He started sleeping through the night at 9 days old...that's right 9 days old. What an amazing baby!!! Nixon loves his paci. We are still working on him holding on to it. I think he would just love for us to hold it in his mouth 24/7 :) This little guy also has found his fingers so I guess we will see if he is a thumb sucker like his sister. He is such a strong little guy. He holds his head up better than any baby I have ever seen. He has rolled over a couple of times. He is laughing and smiling. I just want to kiss him all over. It is so special to have such a sweet new little spirit around us. He truly has blessed our home.

Oh my goodness her glasses are adorable! We need to plan a playdate soon!
We are so happy for you. Paul, Kaytie and cute Dean were here last week. Kaytie told us about you sweet family and how much fun she had meeting Nixon. Love Henslee's glasses--they look so sassy!
Those are some adorable kids! LOVE the pic of Hens in her swimsuit & glasses. Nixon looks so big! When you guys are up we need to put Sunny, Nixon & Brooke together to compare them! I hope all goes well with her therapists. That's a ton of running and appts for you! Good luck!
SO cute! This may sound like an odd question but do you/did you breastfeed? I learned a little bit about it at our adoption panel and I think when our big day comes that I want to try it so I was just wondering! :)
